Hostel paradise St ligger i centrum af Santa Marta, 600 m fra stranden Bahía de Santa Marta og 200 m fra domkirken Santa Marta. Der er gratis wi-fi og aircondition. What a great place! Ideal location- step out the door into the pedestrian zone. I stayed in a large, private room with 2 King beds, with bathroom and A/C. Bed very comfy. Very clean! A large bathroom sink; I appreciated having a fridge...all the coffee I could drink, and hot water for tea (at the reception). The room was very quiet overall - I did not need earplugs! (there will always be a certain level of noise anywhere you stay in Latin/South America in my experience). The receptionist was always "a pendiente". Highly recommend!

We arrived there in the evening and someone picked us up and brought our luggage up to the hostel. It’s a very cute place, with only a few beds. The staff was really friendly. They prepared great breakfast with self made juice for us in the morning. We decided to stay one additional night, because it is a really peaceful and relaxing place. There is a nice swimming pool and a great view in the valley. They even have a horse. Definitely recommended! I could have stayed there for a week :)

Yacki is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed - kitchen is very well equiped, has all the utilities, crockery and fridge. The bed was comfortable, and the location is very good - about 7 mins by walk from the centre. The last bit of walk is uphill, but it’s just a very short distance that is challenging, around 200 metres. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and in addition there is a bunch of very fridndly pets (cats and dogs) which are just impossible not to pet🤗 Yacki gave us water for cooking on first day which was very nice of her and kept us well informed about electricity shutdowns and water cuts. It’s not our first time in the area, and we understand that it is normal in Santa Marta region. Yacki also made sure we had everything we needed every day and offered cleaning.
