The best stay on our trip through Denmark! From the warm welcome of Rikke and the talkative and cuddly cats and happy dogs, the serene views and silence, to the incredible breakfast of fresh, local and tasty flavours. Franks knowledge and jolly demeanour had us entertained and relaxed. The apartment was clean, cozy and the perfect size for two adults. We slept like babies in the soft beds with a fresh breeze from the skylights above. "Svineriet" has a restful and lovely atmosphere. For animal-lovers like ourselves, it was delightful to see how well Rikke and Frank provide for all their animals with love and respect. We couldn't ask for more for our stay - we highly recommend Rikke og Franks Svineri!

The breakfast was very nice and included many options. I was able to take one of the buns with me for later in the day. The location is best if you can bike, or drive.

Situated in Ebeltoft, Ibsens Gaard has a garden, shared lounge, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. Guests have access to a shared patio and shared kitchen facilities. The most friendly host you can ever meet with. The place is very central and clean.

The apartment was warm and comfortable and had everything I needed . I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience life in the old town of Ebeltoft.

We liked the architectural and design touches and details that made the house special. The grounds were lovely; we had dinner outside each evening., Kitchen facilities were nice. and we enjoyed the ping pong table. It would be good to point folks toward a grocery store so they could stock up before arriving. Although I wouldn't call it a beachfront property, we enjoyed the walk down to the beautiful cliffs and beaches and did this once in the daytime and once to see the sunset.

Bakkegården Homestay is located in Spottrup, 15 km from Skive and 35 km Holstebro. It offers free WiFi, a garden with a terrace and outdoor furniture. Farm animals and activities are on site. Breakfast fine. Countryside and quite, a nice view to the garden and sheeps.

Bike hire is available at this bed and breakfast and the area is popular for cycling and hiking.... This place is an peaceful oasis on the wild, windy coast of western Denmark and we felt very lucky to have been able to stay here. Let’s get to the many reasons why: 1. The top of the list is Ole’s beautiful garden, which is filled with flowers, plants, birds, fountains, and multiple sitting areas thoughtfully designed to allow you to sit in the sun or shade, as you wish. The smell from the lilacs and other flowers was absolutely heavenly. 2. We were able to charge and store our e-bikes in the garage where they were safe and dry. This is a big positive for touring cyclists. 3. The whole apartment also smelled of flowers that had been lovingly cut from the garden and placed in a vase on the table. 4. Ole had so many treats waiting for us, we couldn’t believe it. The fridge was filled with eggs, bread, deli meats, butter, jam, orange juice, and condiments perfect for a very nice breakfast, all free. He also provided coffee and tea, and chocolates. 5. There was beer and wine for a very low price to purchase, and local jams and oils as well. 4. The apartment was very tastefully decorated with reminders of the sea and real plants (not plastic) everywhere. 5. The bedding was of the highest quality and the mattress cover made it feel like one big bed instead of two. We slept like the dead. 6. There is a grocery store 180 meters from the house that makes delicious traditional Danish rolls and cookies. My husband and I both have a horrible sweet tooth. They made these homemade crispy cookie sandwiches with a layer of creme in-between and then dipped in chocolate. Oh, my goodness gracious. 6. Last but not least, Ole invited us to have a glass of wine in the garden where we spoke about the wonders of life. This, he said, was what “hygge” was all about. 🥰
