A beautiful and thoughtfully decorated cottage located in what can only be described as a mini-paradise. It was noticeable to me how dark and quiet it was during the night, allowing for a good rest in a comfortable bed. The sauna was a real treat. We took our time each morning to fully enjoy the renowned and delicious breakfast – which is kind of a brunch really. The view from the terrace is beautiful and it is a real extension of the cottage, as we spent many hours there in the morning and in the evening. The hosts were accommodating, mindful and friendly.

There is a large lounge/dining room with bedroom off one side, as well as the upstairs (which is set up for children to sleep in). The bedroom had a large comfortable bed and the property had good heating. The kitchen was fully-equipped with appliances, cooking utensils, crockery, and eating utensils. The bathroom was also good, with a good shower (and fluffy towels). The Wifi was very fast (200Mbit/sec). The centre of Hundested is about 10 minutes' walk away, with restaurants and shops (and the ferry to Rørvig or the train towards Hillerød and Copenhagen). Car parking is available in a carport along the road by the side of the property. The proprietors (Niels & Lærke) met us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful.

This is by far the best B&B we ever stayed in. It's located in a beautiful and laid-back town, just 40 minutes drive north of Copenhagen. We came in the summer and there are many restaurants, shops, food trucks and of course the port with a lovely beach Our host Majken was amazing and super helpful and recommended many activities and restaurants and made us feel at home. The place itself is a big house with private rooms and a common kitchenette where you can eat or meet other guests. There's also a big garden just outside the room. We had a very big and comfortable room. Everything was super clean and fancy, even the toiletries were high quality and it was obvious that the host wanted to create the perfect experience for her guests. The breakfast was rich and tasty

The location is wonderful - very central to step down right into the heart of the city yet double windows keep the noise out when needed. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lovely smelling soaps and other small touches :) Marie was great, very responsive and tried extra hard to address any issue that came up, including being flexible on early check-in time.

Vangeled Gaard B&B - Apartments is located in Holtug and features barbecue facilities. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. This is such a gem! The hostess is lovely and welcoming and you feel at home right from the beginning. The surroundings are nothing short of lush and magical. And the breakfast was great too!
