Our stay at Airkela Nubian Guest House in Egypt was truly special. Here's a short review of our fantastic experience: The room was amazing, with a balcony offering a stunning view of the Nile. It was not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean. Plus, the family who owns the guest house was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us, making us feel like part of their family. The location on Elephantine Island was perfect. It was a peaceful escape from the busy Aswan, and getting to the mainland was a breeze with their boat service (thanks to captain Ali). Breakfasts were delicious, featuring tasty local dishes and fresh juices. A real highlight was the Nile cruise organized by "the uncle name". It's an absolute must-do with breathtaking scenery, historical sites, and friendly guides. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Especially Ali who was always willing to take us to the opposite bank in his relaxing boat. In short, Airkela Nubian Guest House offered an authentic and delightful Egyptian experience. We're grateful to the wonderful family who made our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return!

The welcome and care we felt at this Nubian house was unbelievable. It's actually a small place, with just three rooms, located right in the heart of the village market. Ahmad took care of us since before we even arrived, by arranging a private car to take us to Abu Simbel at a really great price. Needless to say he continued arranging all our logistics throughout our stay, which made our trip to Aswan really smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was amazing, perfectly clean, fresh, every little detail was so well thought out. And the food (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had anywhere in Egypt. We felt so comfortable at this place, and however we turned there was a big smile and welcome from the hosts. We loved it, thank you Ahmad!

This is a beautiful and traditional place to stay with amazing views of the Nile and such lovely staff! We arrived late at night and were served kofta, rice, baked tomatoes and potatoes,and tahini, all served outside our bedroom. The staff can not do enough for you and the breakfast by the Nile was unforgettable.

Nastanitev Kafana Guest House Nile View se nahaja ob obali v mestu Aswan, 23 km od znamenitosti Mavzolej Aga Khan, in ponuja zasebno plažo. It is a nice intimate place in the beautiful island of Elephantine. The room was spotlessly clean, which was great relief after being disappointed by different hostels in Cairo. We enjoyed the short walks on the island, where we met a lot of welcoming local families, away from the hustle of downtown. We also enjoyed the beautiful little terrace and garden in front of the room, and the good dishes made by Kafana and his crew. They were all extremely nice and respectful, besides being a great company and fun to be around. We felt we were among friends. Kafana himself is very accommodating and went out of his way to get us to our train on time. Very thankful for this experience and will surely visit again.
