Offering a garden and garden view, Bracadale House is set in Port na Long, 1.5 km from Fiskavaig Bay Beach and 42 km from Dunvegan Castle. Already before the trip we were well informed by Wayne and Caroline about the stay. At arrival, Wayne and Caroline gave us a warm welcome and great advice about places to see and eat. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip so far. The rooms were nice and comfy, and the shower after a long journey simply perfect. A huge thanks to both for everything.

What was there NOT to like? It was amazing. The apartment is super well appointed, with all kinds of little touches added for comfort and pleasure of enjoying the incredible area this location. The hosts, Mark and Ann, were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. We stayed three nights but would have gladly stayed three weeks! While it is just a little out of the beaten path, it is actually a big plus as it provided us with an amazing view of the water and the surrounding crofts with their sheep and entertaining lambs. Lots of wildlife can be viewed from the large viewing window in the living room, and that alone was quite a showcase.

Featuring mountain views, Garroch House in Carbost features accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. Breakfast was excellent. Accomodation was very clean, the room was very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accomadating.. We stayed seven nights and loved it, we could come and go as we pleased. When we are back on Skye we will be looking them up again.
