Perfect location with a nice view and good location. Very kind host Fanis welcomed me downstairs. Booked 1 night before but definitely the best stay I had in Syros and Greece. Btw, there was nice local bar downstairs. You can share the happiness with them from the terrace.

Yiouli and Dimitris are amazing hosts. We felt welcome and safe from the first minute, just like visiting old friends. Dimitris's intro to the island and tips for food/visits was so helpful! I loved the private terrace of room #3 and spent most of my time there reading and relaxing. The room was clean and tasteful. The location was also super convenient: 15 minutes walk downhill to Ermoupolis and 10 minutes uphill to Ano Syros. Taxis are quite cheap in the area, while if you choose to have a car, there is more than enough parking space.

Really nice apartment near the sea, from the apartment you can enjoy the sunrise and we really appreciate it. The staff is also very kind, friendly and helpful. Villa Maria-Syros is set in Ermoupoli, within 0,3 km of Saint Nicholas Church and 0,2 km from Miaouli Square. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The owners were very friendly and helpful. He met us at an easy to find place and brought us up to the hotel. The hotel is a little up the hill. This is the reason I rated the location lower than perfect. Younger people will have no problem. Otherwise the location is great. The hotel room is in a nice house with a nice common sitting area. There are also stairs leading up to the roof where we enjoyed the views over the village and ocean. The room was comfortable and clean. The owner sat down with us to explain where to go, where to eat, what to see etc. just after we arrived. He was always very helpful in answering our questions. His wife also provides a cooking class, which we didn't take advantage of but I thought this is a neat idea. The owner also showed us the way to the ferry on the day we left. He even carried the suitcase of my wife!
