New and very clean apartaments. Great banana pancaces for breakfast:) Very warm and helpful owners- helped organize a guide and transport around The lake as well as futher trip.

Facing the seafront, Romlan is a guest house offering a 3-star accommodation in Tuk Tuk. It has a private beach area, garden and private parking. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

We had the room in front of the lake and it was just perfect :) The garden is so beautiful, the water in front is so peaceful and the family is so nice!

Offering direct access to Toba Lake, Toba Village Inn is set amidst a natural landscape. It boasts an outdoor pool with stunning views of the lake and Pusuk Buhit Mountain. Manager Mr. Jae organized a car with a driver for me to see Samosir Island. Driver Mr. Rambo was also a very good driver and a guide. He was extremely cooperative. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Mario Lakeside Apartments is a recently renovated apartment in Tuk Tuk, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. Where to start! Fabulous quite location next to the lake, very reasonable priced apartment with living space and kitchen, great vegetarian restaurant on sight, Katie and Ali were so very helpful with knowledge, contacts, and information they also had a scooter I rented. This place for me was idyllic I loved it I will definitely be back such a laid back chilled backpacker vibe if that's what your into i can't recommend highly enough!
