Very close to village shops, restaurants, and dock. Host had great communication and was very helpful suggesting local places to eat and things to see.

It's more like a retreat than a hotel. Four or five quiet comfortable bedrooms in a stunning, peaceful location, with its own private path down to the bay, and prize winning gardens where the sound of running water fills your eardrums. I felt totally renewed after one night there and I cannot wait to go back.

Overlooking the fishing village of Portmagee, this Valentia stone house enjoys views of the sea, islands and Kerry Mountains. It offers large rooms with sea views and free Wi-Fi. A warm welcome from Frances set tone for our stay here. Our room was cosy, clean and comfy. We had a light breakfast perfect for a trip to the Skellig.
