Beautiful location, cosy house with a wood fireplace and comfortable couch. The hosts were lovely and left us treats for Christmas Eve. We also enjoyed the discount for Vok baths. Although we didn't get to see the Northern Lights due to snow/clouds- it was still a lovely stay. We woke up to a winter wonderland on Christmas day.

It was really cozy and comfy with great views to the lake and the mountains. The staff was really kind, especially the woman with yellow jacket. Set in the quiet countryside of Eastern Iceland, these basic cottages are 7 minutes’ drive from the village of Vopnafjördur. It provides a kitchenette and free toiletries. The hosts of the property made there best to make us feel at home! They gave us tons of food for breakfast and also we could even eat from that food for dinner! They also let us move the beds to feel better! Thankyou for this! Its a very nice property and the surroundings of the property is excellent - lots of mountains in the vicinity. We saw also some weak northern lights next to the property. The property is value for money and has a private bathroom. Also, the price is very good!
