Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

The location was beautiful off the lake and the room was very clean with all the amenities required. The host was super friendly and met us to hand over the keys and provided lots of detail around the area. Would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

As we were staying there for the night we got free entrance to the area and enjoyed those one of a kind views. We also got free coffee at the cafe which was a nice added bonus. The room was spacious and comfy and very nicely designed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the staff were kind and patient. We were so sorry we had to leave.

Vagnsstadir Guesthouse offers accommodation in Borgarhöfn. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The guesthouse has pet horses living on site. Jökulsárlón is just a 20-minute drive away. We loved how clean and new the place was. The breakfast was also nice.

Set in the quiet countryside of Eastern Iceland, these basic cottages are 7 minutes’ drive from the village of Vopnafjördur. It provides a kitchenette and free toiletries. I loved this accommodation. It’s a traditional cabin, well equipped, comfortable and clean. The area is remote and beautiful, with plenty of sheep keeping me company. I highly recommend.
