The location is perfect for short stay and the view is breathtaking! The terrace is right over the lake and you can hear the water during the night. A good location for a stress-free holiday in Mandello del Lario, Picobello Lago is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain. The place is simply beautiful, excellently maintained, beautifully decorated. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Everything is in place. Very pleasant hostess. I highly recommend booking Picobello Lago , it's worth every penny

Set in Pescate and only 23 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, View House - Lake Como offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a very comfy one-bedroom apartment with large living room and an outside patio/balcony. It's on the third floor of a four-story building. The windows and the patio are facing the lake with beautiful views of Lake Como and the mountains - see attached pics. The patio is great to have morning coffee and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that's needed. Coffee machine is stocked with capsules. All the appliances are new and in perfect working condition. The place is very well maintained and clean. The bed in very comfortable. There is also a sofa-bed in the living room that can be used for 2 people. Bathroom and shower are immaculate. Wi-Fi works very well. Elisa, the owner/host, is very pleasant and friendly lady. She picked us up at the local train station and took us to the property for a quick check-in process. At the end of our stay, when there was time to check-out, she also offered to drop us off at the station. This was such a great touch of hospitality! She also provided a box of very delicious cookies to go with our first cup of coffee at her property. The place has a dedicated parking in a gated area, though we did not use it. The place is about 2 miles from the center of Lecco. There is a bus stop right across the street and it takes 5 minutes to get to town. We usually walked to town - there is a real nice walking trail that goes along the lake so one can enjoy the views. There is a grocery store within 5 mins walk. Overall, it's a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the area. There are many hiking trails for any level of abilities and expertise. Lecco is a very authentic Italian town with a rich history and many places of interest. There are many shops, cafes, and restaurants. Trains, buses, and water-taxis provide good connections to other areas around Lake Como. I would definitely recommend staying at Elisa's place.

Set in Lezzeno, just 6.7 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, La Corte del Governo 565 offers beachfront accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. What an amazing location, room is absolutely beautiful, with a balcony too. Staff made sure we could check in easily and were the friendliest of people. Would definitely recommend going here! Also make sure you make a reservation at the accompanied restaurant, the oldest restaurant in the world.
