I loved my stay at Lily’s! The bungalows are rustic but very comfortable. Lin and Ah Sey and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. They really did everything to make my visit great. I loved hanging out in the restaurant and watching little Lily get into all sorts of mischief, and the infamous sea otter paid a visit which was amazing and funny. As others have mentioned, Lin’s boat ride with snorkeling, fishing, a barbecue and finally swimming with the bioluminescent plankton was pure magic!

Set in Koh Rong Island, Preah Sihanouk Province region, Firefly Guesthouse is 19.7 km from both Koh Rong Dive Center and High Point Adventure Park. Asian cuisine is served at the restaurant. The place is really eco friendly, almost everything made of wood. You live inside the preaek svay village among the locals. The hosts Han and his wife are really awesome people and very supportive. They help you with everything including how to reach the place, booking boat,, renting a bike or traveling in the island. They have small restaurant cum kitchen available there, and provide you food at very reasonable prices. The place is really good for you if you want to stay away from people and world for a while and stay close to nature only.

A really nice hidden Gem! Very relaxed and perfect place to let your soul rest. Shoutout to Matti for making me feel welcome from the very first second. The tents are not hot at all because they have a wooden roof so the sunlight doesn't go through.

The staff is very nice, the place is clean and cheap, bed is comfy, they have internet (which we didn't know before), food is good, you can borrow books and they have water at your disposal. We were in-between two rooms and being sensitive to noise it was hard to sleep for me because the neighbours often didn't give a damn about the noise they make and walls are paper. You can also hear the kitchen in the morning so if you're a light sleeper like me, (even with earplugs) be aware of that ^^ But still it depends on the travelers next door really and it doesn't change the fact that this place is totally worth it !

She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.
