It was a quick stay but the host ensured I had everything I needed from the moment I arrived. The room was very large with lots of areas to sit and or set your personal items on which was appreciated. I had a spacious kitchen to cook if I preferred (grocery store right down the street). The bathroom was on the smaller side but had everything you’d need.

Krish’ place is perfect. Spacious bedroom & bathroom, immaculately clean. AC & fan are both available so you can choose. Location is perfect situated between Kalkudah & Pasikuda Beach. You can use the local hotel for a small charge (Laya $3 Uga $8). Krish and her staff are very kind & welcoming. Krish really is an incredible woman, goes above and beyond for her guests. We had a meal across the road that did not satisfy & after reading reviews about Krish’ food (request in advance) we had an exceptional meal of prawns, rice and curry. Thank you so much Krish, it was a pleasure meeting you. 2 nights wasn’t enough. Expect a quiet area with no WiFi, clean, comfortable and spacious- you will not be disappointed! Sri Lankan breakfast was also superb.

Juda and Amutha were fantastic hosts, so helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights to explore Batticaloa, where we rented bicycles from the accommodation and were given recommendations for where to explore and where to eat. Beds were comfy, breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean. Highly recommend!!

Brand new mosquito nets. Lovely balcony. Delicious veg omelette for breakfast. Free bicycles to use to explore. Few mins away from Pasidukah and Kalkudah beaches. Family run hotel, Runi (main guy, owner) is a very kind and humble man. Always wanting to help us with anything we needed and brought us hot coffee in the mornings. Little shop very close by, a hopper man sets up his stall just outside in the evenings. Will definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money. Thanks for a lovely stay :)
