We recently had the privilege of staying at the AHAVAH in Mauritius, and we are enchanted by this hidden gem! The accommodation is quite exquisite, tastefully decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the pristine cleanliness, truly impressed me. Waking up to the gentle sounds of birds and the warm Mauritian sunrise on the terrace was a wonderful experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens and cozy outdoor seating areas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. It's an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The true magic of AHAVAH, however, lies in the genuine warmth and hospitality of its hosts, who treated us like family. Their personalised care and attention to our needs and preferences were unparalleled. ASHLEY and his parents went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only comfortable but also filled with memorable experiences. The private tours Ashely suggested (South of Mauritius with ABISHEK and private boating tour to visit islands with YASH/VIKAS) provided an amazing experience and worth doing. AHAVAH is not just a place to stay; it's an experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected to the beauty of Mauritius culture. Featuring garden views, Casa Frangipani Mauritius provides accommodation with balcony, around 600 metres from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach. Kerstin is the best host I have ever had, and I have traveled to so many destinations for the last 15 years. She made us feel welcome since we arrived and continued to be helpful and genuinely friendly during our stay. The apartment looks like it has just been renovated. Everything is in excellent condition, neat and clean. With Kerstin's attention to detail, the apartment has everything you might ever need, and the design is pleasing and calming. What we loved the most was the terrace, where we spent most of our time during breakfasts and dinners. Kerstin has equipped us with mosquito-repellant stripes, which we used every night on the terrace while playing card games. A bed is exceptionally comfortable and should be great for most people's liking because my partner, who usually has back pains, slept well every night. Kerstin helped us organize the day trip to 5 islands which was an extraordinary experience and highly recommended. She offered us a free ride to the meeting point, and her husband, Mr. Visham, was super kind in organizing watching the Première League football game one night with his friends. We had such a good time. Kerstin has the answer to all your questions, has great recommendations for places to visit, knows where to send you to enjoy a nice dinner, and is willing to organize it for you. If you want to enjoy the most of all surrounding beaches, rent a scooter with Paradisa rental, which is just around the corner, and Kerstin can assist you in getting in contact <3

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. Rajesh and his wife gave a very warm welcome! The apartment is a home away from home. Clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. For breakfast Rajesh brought us fresh bread every morning while fruits, different cereal, jam, coffee, tea etc. where already in the kitchen. The balcony, has a nice view to the river and plenty of space to relax. You can also ask Rajesh to help you with booking a boat for Ile aux cerfs at a fair price, the boats leave directly from there which is super convenient.

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. This place is not a hotel, it's a warm welcoming home. Location: the place is very private and peaceful. It's a nice location to visit the whole north east coast. Food: the food is cooked with love, with a perfect fusion of Mauritian and Thai cuisine. Staff: the family that owns this place has poured all their heart into it! Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. I loved the house: from the view to the furniture, it’s all cured in detail and the pictures are exactly like reality. You’re really waking up with the ocean in front of you. You can have breakfast on the terrace and dinner too, it’s never too windy. The house is equipped with all the commodities including towels to use on the beach, shower gel, conditioner; oil, vinegar, pans and all sort of tools to cook. A special note for the amazing hospitality of Sabrina. She waited for us until late in the evening and arranged an amazing boat trip (which I highly recommend… it’s 90$ per person all day on a boat with lunch on an island included, a real bargain). The house was cleaned almost daily and you could ask anything to the cleaners who were there every morning.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Viccos Villa - Brand New Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce is located in Trou dʼ Eau Douce. The house is located in a new neighborhood just a few minutes drive from the beach. Nice and quiet area which felt very safe. The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.

Located a few steps from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach and 1.5 km from Quatre Cocos Beach in Trou dʼ Eau Douce, Trou d’Eau Douce - Campement pieds dans l’eau offers accommodation with a kitchen. It felt like having the beach as your backyard. Beautiful to just have meals on the terrace with the ocean directly in front of you.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a patio, Beach Villa Poema is located in Centre de Flacq. An absolutely stunning location with a villa beautifully designed to make the most of the views, crashing sound waves and breeze. The owners came to meet us on day of arrival and gave very helpful contacts and information on the shops and services locally. They kept in touch regularly. Housekeepers, Guylaine and Sheila, were very welcoming and did a great job of keeping the villa pristine. Well equipped kitchen, regularly maintained pool and gardens.

Featuring sea views, Tropical beachfront apartment provides accommodation with a private beach area, an infinity pool and a garden, around a few steps from Long Beach. Everything. The whole apartment is perfectly organized and planned, well-equipped kitchen (with one drawer full of kids' plates, bowls, cups, and metal straws), extra room with a washing machine and cleaning stuff, a lot of storage spaces, super comfy beds, gadgets for kids (swimming stuff, beach umbrellas, trolley, kitchen chair, basket, table games), and huge wardrobes. Big and cozy balcony with a nice view and a set of couches, lawn chairs, and a dryer. The whole apartment is very stylish and nicely decorated with comfortable poufs, soft pillows, and a lot of styled images. Convenient parking in front of the building is closing this list of superlatives.
