We recently had the privilege of staying at the AHAVAH in Mauritius, and we are enchanted by this hidden gem! The accommodation is quite exquisite, tastefully decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the pristine cleanliness, truly impressed me. Waking up to the gentle sounds of birds and the warm Mauritian sunrise on the terrace was a wonderful experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens and cozy outdoor seating areas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. It's an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The true magic of AHAVAH, however, lies in the genuine warmth and hospitality of its hosts, who treated us like family. Their personalised care and attention to our needs and preferences were unparalleled. ASHLEY and his parents went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only comfortable but also filled with memorable experiences. The private tours Ashely suggested (South of Mauritius with ABISHEK and private boating tour to visit islands with YASH/VIKAS) provided an amazing experience and worth doing. AHAVAH is not just a place to stay; it's an experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected to the beauty of Mauritius culture. Featuring garden views, Casa Frangipani Mauritius provides accommodation with balcony, around 600 metres from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach. Kerstin is the best host I have ever had, and I have traveled to so many destinations for the last 15 years. She made us feel welcome since we arrived and continued to be helpful and genuinely friendly during our stay. The apartment looks like it has just been renovated. Everything is in excellent condition, neat and clean. With Kerstin's attention to detail, the apartment has everything you might ever need, and the design is pleasing and calming. What we loved the most was the terrace, where we spent most of our time during breakfasts and dinners. Kerstin has equipped us with mosquito-repellant stripes, which we used every night on the terrace while playing card games. A bed is exceptionally comfortable and should be great for most people's liking because my partner, who usually has back pains, slept well every night. Kerstin helped us organize the day trip to 5 islands which was an extraordinary experience and highly recommended. She offered us a free ride to the meeting point, and her husband, Mr. Visham, was super kind in organizing watching the Première League football game one night with his friends. We had such a good time. Kerstin has the answer to all your questions, has great recommendations for places to visit, knows where to send you to enjoy a nice dinner, and is willing to organize it for you. If you want to enjoy the most of all surrounding beaches, rent a scooter with Paradisa rental, which is just around the corner, and Kerstin can assist you in getting in contact <3

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. This place is a miracle. I felt if we were in James Cameron's Pandora. Fantastic terraces with great view to palm trees, river and ocean. Tropical birds are continuously chirping. In the evening you can hear frog concert. Our hosts were super kind. We arrived a bit earlier but we could go to our "new home", Rajesh and his wife Madvi organized a boat trip for us (GRSE waterfall, Ile aux Cerfs and lunch on the beach) and in the morning we got bananas from them to breakfast (which we could share with monkies during the boat trip. They booked table for us in Satish's Carambole Snack. They recommended which hospital to go when our daughter had a too close connection with a sea urchin. One day Madvi also cooked for us. There are lots of things to do in the neighbourhood. You can also walk to the top of the GRSE waterfall where you can even swim in the water and if you are lucky, you can also meet monkeys on the path. There are nice beaches, nice hindu temples, nice mountains to walk, nice towns around.

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. We had a lovely stay, dinner and breakfast were both excellent with very kind and welcoming hosts who made it a very personable experience. The room was lovely and clean and it was such a unique and beautiful environment.

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. Excellent stay in the East of Mauritius, Sabrina took great care of me and the owner is friendly and helpful. It is located right on the beach and is close to many restaurants. Really good modern facilities. Good attention to detail on amenities. Will definitely opt to stay here if in the East, its definitely the best location in that area.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Viccos Villa - Brand New Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce is located in Trou dʼ Eau Douce. Home away from home. A very spacious property with all mod cons. I stayed at Viccos Villa for three weeks and upon arrival I was very impressed to see that the fridge was fully stocked with an extensive range of provisions provided for. A very nice touch indeed. The property is new and spick and span and the house maid Mehzabine, provided exceptional service. Vikram, my host is very attentive and all needs were catered for from local restaurants, to excursions and provided any extras that were requested.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a patio, Beach Villa Poema is located in Centre de Flacq. Beautiful accommodation. Stylish & comfortable. Fabulous that it is so close to the sea. Wonderful to hear the waves and the sea as you fall asleep at night. Nice and private. Great place to see the stars at night. The hosts were helpful and responsive. An enjoyable experience & special place to stay. We were sad at the end of our stay, that we had to leave the place. Lovely private beach. Would definitely return.

Featuring sea views, Tropical beachfront apartment provides accommodation with a private beach area, an infinity pool and a garden, around a few steps from Long Beach. Everything was incredible...absolutely great. The place is very peaceful with its own security. I can absolutely recommend it. There's a great restaurant just around the corner. The name of the restaurant is Saimon's Restaurant. I would love to come back here again !
