Set within 10 km of Königstein Fortress and 17 km of Saxon Switzerland National Park in Kurort Rathen, Eisenbahnwelten provides accommodation with seating area. Fantastic place Kurort Rathen, nice pension with excellent location - near the ferry and railway station, comfortable room, very tasty and rich breakfast, fine staff. Bonus is the free entrance to the Eisenbahnwelten - park with moving train models, that is interesting not only for kids but also to adults.

Offering a garden and garden view, Pension Kleiner König is set in Struppen-Siedlung, 3.2 km from Königstein Fortress and 11 km from Saxon Switzerland National Park. Breakfast was reasonably good. Self check-in but it was pretty easy. It provided free parking space. Conveniently located for access to the Sachsen Swiss National Park. Great value.

Pension Stettin is set in Stadt Wehlen, 11 km from Pillnitz Castle and Park, 18 km from Saxon Switzerland National Park, and 20 km from Königstein Fortress. This pension is situated on the edge of the village and is very quiet. A pleasant walk through the village, out the other side then down a very steep and beautiful path will take you to Stat Vehlen, which is a pretty little town on the Elbe with a ferry across to the station. The path certainly keeps you fit on the return journey. The room was commodious, the bathroom equally so. Facilities in the room were good, but basic, to make hot drinks or get a beer, guests have access to the kitchen area through a different door. Breakfast was very good, a boiled egg awaits you when you sit down, there is the usual collection of meats and cheeses, yoghurt, bread, fresh fruit and so on. I really liked it.

Offering inner courtyard views, Lichtenhainer Wasserfall is an accommodation set in Lichtenhain, 17 km from Königstein Fortress and 38 km from Pillnitz Castle and Park. it was convenient for my purpose and served excellent food

Situated in Schöna and with Saxon Switzerland National Park reachable within 10 km, Gasthaus & Pension Zirkelstein features a tour desk, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. The master is so kind and warm. Location is so good to enjoy.

Located in Hinterhermsdorf, 18 km from Saxon Switzerland National Park, Gasthaus "Zum Wanderstübel" provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Cute, quaint place. Peaceful and quiet. Nice hosts. Area great for walking/hiking.

Casa Hostel Pirna is located on the second floor of the historic Salve building from 1895. It offers a locked room for bicycles, free maps and free WiFi. Everything is high quality. It’s a great place!
