Absolutely superb boutique accommodation, right on the Backwaters... best so far. We had 2 rooms and the very welcome plunge pool. Everything about the place was serene and relaxing. David is a wonderful host, and we enjoyed chatting with him about his experiences in our country, Ireland. Anish was extremely helpful, especially on arrival after our long journey. We did kayaking, and canal tour from the accommodation and really enjoyed these. The location is sublime...right on the river. I'll never forget that sunrise. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked dinner on the deck. Just book it!!

Neela Waters - Beach Home ligger i Alleppey, inom 2 minuters promenad från Alleppey Beach och 2,6 km från Thumpoly Beach, och erbjuder boende med en terrass och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt gratis... We stayed in the corner room, so we had this beautiful view of the sea from every window. The room itself is tastefully decorated and has AC and a fan. The host, Anup, was very helpful and a great conversman. Service was splendid, and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed there for one night and it was great! Clean rooms and bathrooms , just in the Munnar centre. Some great motorbike routes around ( we are bikers) and the most beautiful tea plantations. Highly recommended!

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Wonderful host (Joseph) who has created a really well laid-out, comfortable and airy B and B with a lovely atmosphere. He couldn’t have done more to help us, organising trips and taxis etc. The location is excellent - it is quiet but close to restaurants, cafes, shops, sights, ferries, tuktuks. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Air con, hot water and wifi were all brilliant. Breakfast was very good, offering Western and Indian options. We also liked the lounge and kitchen area on each floor where you can make your own tea/coffee and light meals.

Ashtamudi Villas ligger i Kollam, 4,3 km från Kollam järnvägsstation, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en restaurang. This is a very travellers friendly hotel. It's right by the lake and has a lovely green garden full of palm trees and other greenery. Hammocks between the trees and also a canoe. All the rooms have a private terrace with table and chairs. Large and spotless clean room with an excellent bathroom. Friendly English speaking staff. Excellent WiFi, coffee and tea sold by the pot, and cold ones in the fridge. Can't get much better than that. They arrange tours to Monroe Island as well. The hotel is far from town, but you can get there with a local bus for just 10 RP, either from the main road just up from the bus station, or from the school junction where you can jump off your incoming bus if you are coming from the north. Best place to stay as the town centre has completely lost all its travellers atmosphere.
