Breakfast was great, staff friendly, and location fantastic, in the heart of Stresa. Close to the lake, ferry, and downtown. Very walkable location. Only a half of a block to everything.

Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

Wonderful family owned and operated location with outstanding restaurant. The hotel was recently renovated and located facing the lake on the town square.

Set in the pedestrian zone at the historical centre of Cannobio, 21 km from Lugano, Antico Borgo B&B offers a shared lounge and free WiFi. We had a lovely stay at this Air B&B. Great location. Super clean and all updated. We were on the top floor and had a nice terrace. Easy walk to shops/restaurants. Fabulous breakfast. Comfy beds and nice linens. But the BEST thing was the innkeepers. Chiara and Francesco were so friendly and helpful. A truly rare find - do stay here if you have the opportunity. You won't regret it.

Fantastic hospitality by the landlady and her son. And breakfast was delicious! And it is not just Lago Maggiore that is nice. You can take a walk in the woods up the hill directly from the house which we did together with the landlady and her dog. As said, we felt really at home there. For those travelling without a car, it is good to know that there is a bus stop just 100 meters from the house. The bus runs several times a day and takes you down to Lago Maggiore.

Giovanna and Fabio are delightful company offering great hospitality, sharing their lifelong travel stories, and gourmet cuisine. Highly recommend.
