We liked the very clean rooms, the space was just enough for the two of us with two big suitcases. Also the balcony was a big plus and nice to hear the ocean sound. Check-in was flexible and easy, which is something we appreciated as we arrived rather late that night. Andy is a very welcoming host, he gave us tips on the area and explained to us how to use the washing machine etc. Would recommend this place !!

The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

We loved our stay here! The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. 숙박비가 싸게 느껴질 정도로 완벽한 숙소였습니다. 조용하고 아름다운 자연 한 가운데 위치해 있어, 숙소에 머무는 것만으로도 쉼이 됩니다. 방 내부 인테리어도 아늑하고, 청결했습니다. 공용 주방과 세탁실에 각종 음식과 청소용품, 스노클링 용품, 여가 용품이 마련되어 있어서, 저희가 따로 뭘 더 살 필요가 없었습니다. 저녁에 심심하지 말라고, 보드게임, 잡지, 소설책, 체스판까지 있습니다... 특히 아침에 일어나 보이는 테라스 앞 정원 풍경이 압도적입니다. 이렇게 멋진 숙소를 만들어준 두 호스트에게 진심으로 감사드립니다. 다시 하와이에 간다면 꼭 다시 들르고 싶은 숙소입니다.

We loved the location, close to the Hilo downtown but in a peaceful green place. We really appreciated the breakfast. The owner baked daily cakes and prepared fresh fruit. Best breakfast ever!! Free parking space was also a plus!

I highly recommend anyone staying in Kona wanting an incredible experience to stay here. Ricky and his wife are both extremely friendly, kind and hospitable people (as well as both being great cooks). The destination (10 min drive from town up into the hills) provides the most beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The room was immaculately clean and much bigger than I had originally thought going by the photos. We utilised the breakfast option and were treated to a variety of delightful breakfasts along with the best coffee I had drunk in Kona that they make with their own beans. The view whilst eating there is as good as it can get as well. Could not have enjoyed our stay more here and if we go back to Kona we will certainly be staying at Hale Hualalai with Ricky. Thank you both so much for making our stay with you perfect.
