The place was nice . In the right place. I've been on a boat on the river . Staff were lovely. . Nice garden on summer day .
Beautiful location, lovely staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely touches to make it feel homely. Food was amazing. Pub and restaurant onsite with stunning views from the garden of the estuary and yachts.
The boathouse was in the perfect location for my little getaway! 10 minutes away from pretty much anything, but you also had the beautiful little village just a walk away. We had the standard room, and it just was lovely, a great view, every amenity was taken care of and was just left in peace. The breakfast options were limited, but delicious and it was a beautiful little restaurant for dinner.
This is a beautiful house in a stunning location, perfectly placed for our visit to the boat show in Southampton and to explore the New Forest. Christine and Peter are perfect hosts and made us all feel very welcome. Their knowledge of the area is excellent and they gave us good recommendations for places to eat and to visit. There was a good choice for breakfast, all delicious.
The hotel is situated in the middle of the marine and is purposely built in the style of the Boat House with a matching interior. The room we stayed was quite comfortable but on the smallish side. The staff was supportive and friendly, the breakfast was offered at two options: standard minimal (free of charge ) and traditional English at £5.00 The major downsize was absence of lift; also the accommodation was overpriced at £145.00 for an average room.
Hotel setting is amazing amongst the boats, free carparking was good, and it was peaceful, a nice full English breakfast but had to pay £5 each extra to upgrade, a good breakfast except for the egg.
Lovely setting-Great position right on the river estuary lots of yachts to see -can walk the coast path to Beaulieu -little river tourist boat leaves from right outside the garden Lovely room in the old part of the hotel with views towards the water -treated to a gin and tonic drink in the room -a real treat- small fridge with fresh milk for tea/coffee Bathroom supplied with “100 Acre” lovely tolietries
Location of Boathouse on Marina waterfront, very quiet this time of year. Good views across to Southampton.
superb room, with brilliant views across the water, including boats and train along the pier. Cooked food great, and helpful staff.
The Boathouse Hotel was able to support gluten free breakfasts. I was impressed that a fan and an additional heater was available in our room. Plenty of space. It was nice to have a mirror and seat in a great position for drying my hair.
