The breakfast was also really good with a few different rotating options each day. Rolf and Kiki were absolutely warm and welcoming hosts. The location of the property helps you to get so easily to the city center and also to SBB train station. There is a very big supermarket nearby(2 min walking), 2 min walking to the tram station. Having the coffee on the balcony watching Rhein was amazing. The apartament is fully equipped with everything you need: coffee machine, stove, fridge. The host is very friendly and kind. He even accepted us earlier than the check in hour and later than the check out(there was no booking prior and before us). He is also helping us with Baselcards which are amazing as you can travel free within the city using the tram, buses including the way from and to airport.

We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. The hostess, Loredana, was at the property when we arrived to let us into the parking garage and to give us the keys to the property. She also gave us wonderful (and very helpful!) information about the city, its sights, and how to get around with the bus/tram system. Basel is definitely a place for walking, biking or using the mass transit. Without Loredana's help we never could have seen what we did. We were able to stay parked and move through the city quite easily. The apartment itself was terrific. It was very clean, quiet, and spacious. I especially loved the spacious kitchen, refrigerator/freezer and eating area, as well as the large bedroom, living room and bathroom. I was able to prepare all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen with no problem. For us the location was terrific. We mostly walked into the old town and down to the river, but there were also a number of buses/trams that we could take to the various sites. If the chance arises in the future, we would love to return here for another visit. We had an overall terrific stay. Thank you Loredana!
