It was an easy check-in. We contacted the host on arrival at Niederried Train Station and the host helped us to find our apartment. The host was responsive all the time during our stay. Budget friendly apartment. The view was awesome.

It is just a few mins walk from the bus-stop and the ferry station. We took x 2 lake facing rooms with balcony for 2adults and 2kids (Kids loved it as it came with free netflix) The view is amazing and quite, away from all the city hustle bustle, one would look forward to waking up to that view. The breakfast had good spread compared to european standards. Staff and Service was also very good.

There was a shop in the village where we could buy freshly baked warm bread which tasted so good. Less than ten minutes walk from our accomodation was a shop and a local dairyman. They sell the most natural , authentic tasting fresh milk, expressed, churned, pasteurised on site for the customer's delight. One of the delights of a small village life.

We had a car, but transportation was readily available in the event we didn't want to use the car. Our apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, including parking. The check-in/out process was easy, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming - i felt like a local walking around the village, sitting by the lake soaking up the atmosphere and vibe.

It's a definition of perfect stay. The place is also very clean. It comes with coffee and tea and utensils that you can use when you want to make your breakfast. Lake Lodge Iseltwald is our first destination in Swiss, after we arrived from Amsterdam. Quiet village, superb view, friendly staff, large communal area. We use bus from here to go around Interlaken and nearby lake. Lake Lodge definitely gives me a peaceful vibes, hope to be back here this year ;)
