We spent 9 nights in the hostel. A hostel is exactly the type of accommodation that suits me. It's not luxury, but I don't look for that when I travel. I prefer the charm of the place. And that's exactly what I found here. I felt very comfortable there. The room was OK. The private bathroom was OK. Hot water always. I liked sitting in the hall and in the garden. The team that works in the hostel are friendly people. They were very helpful in organizing the climb to Cerro Toco. It was enough to ask and they organized everything very well.

The private patio was superb - a real treat to enjoy in the afternoon and evening. Overlooking a nice open space and could enjoy the sunrise. What a way to start the day! The cabin was spacious with large living area - 2 bedroom with bath. Owner was very proud of his hotel and interested in our day trips. Small hotel with a variety of rooms. It is outside of town so very quiet and peaceful.

We could check in earlier and by checking out, we were allowed to leave the luggages and hang around the hotel until we were picked up for the airport. We were leaving early in the morning for activities and they packed us breakfast every day. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Our room had a terrace too, so was nice to sit outside in the evening. You can also see the sunset from the main terrace of the hotel.

And the best part I think is the property design and gardens - the views from the room out to beautiful trees and planting, sweet little seating areas dotted around the villas, a very nice pool area. It’s also right in the middle of town so great location for restaurants, hiking bikes etc. The staff are warm and helpful 10/10 ☺️

I would definitely return/recommend. It is close to the town centre, but away from the tourist crowds. Beautiful common area where you can chill for hours. Tea and coffee provided all the time on self-serve basis. Accommodation itself was in small bungalows, nicely decorated - it looked like a tiny village. Flowers everywhere.
