The shepherds huts are absolutely beautiful, we had the most relaxing weekend away for Easter. The huts have everything you need and are very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for getting out and exploring the local area and nice and peaceful. Nicky the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests have the most amazing time and is always on hand for anything else you may need or with local recommendations. She takes pride in the huts and puts extra little touches when you arrive.

Our host, Anne, couldn’t have been more helpful and had provided lots of useful information in advance of our stay which made planning our weekend so much easier. We were so grateful for all the thoughtful touches too. It was great that we were within walking distance of a great pub and a short drive to others in the local village. We took full advantage of the Monsal trail 5 minutes away and also the stunning Chatworth house too. What a fabulous weekend we had!! Thank you!!

Cottage is obviously small but very well planned in the interior that it did not feel claustrophobic. Bedroom for such a small building was genuinely spacious. All the facilities you would expect and the hosts had left tea, coffee, biscuits etcetera which was very kind of them. Bathroom was good with a good shower and everything was VERY clean. The cottage is bigger than I expected from the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a proper dinner. The position is very good, five minutes walk from lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. We loved the board games, especially the Monopoly. Thank you very much for the amazing Christmas we had.
