I loved everything. The house was uber-clean and bright. The host had been so kind to leave some complementary food for us on the table upon arrival and the lock with the key was easy to find. The location is also pretty strategic, as the cottage is close to Broadford, which is probably one of the biggest centres of the isle of Skye, and you can find a Co-op supermarket and a petrol station at a distance of 2 minutes by car.

The beds and sofas are all very comfortable - clearly thought has gone into making this the best possible holiday home rather than functional. My 2 children adored it and were really sad to leave. Broadford is a fantastic base to explore Skye from, and Skerrols' position is perfect - secluded, off the main road (so quiet and safe) but within 10 minutes' walk of everywhere in Broadford.
