We had a rental car with SatNav/GPS so no issues. The area is a bit remote and as the local pub had a fire it was shut while we were visiting so a car was necessary in order to get around just to eat dinner. The breakfast was excellent as was our hosts and we had great conversation. Very enjoyable.

This was such a beautiful, deceptively spacious cottage, equipped very well and beautifully furnished (lovely artwork and choice of books too). We loved having the use of an Aga in the kitchen, in addition to a wood-burning stove in the living room. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extremely enjoyable; fresh homemade scones, jam and clotted cream, logs/kindling for the fire to last entire stay, eggs from the chickens out the back and beautiful flowers to name a few.. We were also offered a later check out due to the fact that there was no one checked in for the following day. It’s was a lovely few days and would definitely love to stay again!

They were charming hosts, it was not a problem. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and very clean. They had gone over and above, it has a very well equipped kitchen, you could move in! It's not normally what you get in an holiday home. Just lovely.
