I highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Fabulous villages and towns to visit in the local area. Excellent friendly hosts. Recommended stay at least three nights We stayed 3 and wished we had stayed longer. It was joy to return from our local sightseeing trips each day.

We would give the location 5 stars, it is just off the High Street so the ease of popping back to your room for a quick refresh and change after a busy day was amazing. We will stay here again and would highly recommend it!

The propriety was amazing, in the city center but still very quiet. I stayed there twice in the same week. One time with a friend and the second time alone. My first room had the abbey garden and mont Tor view which was amazing and my second room had the propriety garden view, very beautiful as well. I'd wake up to the sound of birds singing. The room size and bathroom size were also very good, with plenty of space for all my needs. The breakfast was excellent, all made in house and very filling. George and Mary-Elizabeth were super attentive and always willing to make the best of my stay. I will definitely stay there again.

The river runs right under the large windows which you can hear when tucked up in bed. And we really enjoyed being able to go for a nature walk pretty much as soon as you step outside. The garden/paddock was fab with a walk down to the river and a lovely garden for breakfast/morning coffee. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, including a good selection of provisions... bread, butter, eggs, milk, cereal and fruit. Hosts Sarah and Martin were lovely and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Littlemead and hope to return in the near future.
