I only stayed for one night, as I had an appointment in the area. Having said that. I'd have been happy to stay for longer. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast items in the room meant I was completely independent. I had a good chat with the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. All in all, a lovely experience.

Warm and friendly host. Very clean and comfortable room and facilities. Excellent breakfast, efficient and friendly service and a lovely and scenic area to walk around. The main area in town has a Heritage Centre worth visiting. All made for a memorable stay and can highly recommend. We are considering revisiting, we enjoyed visiting so much.

Christine and Ken (and the kids) embody the authentic warm Irish welcome experience. I’m from the area and have been away for 30 years. To come back and stay in their apartment and be welcomed into their home for a proper Irish breakfast and chat was heart filling and a wonderful way to introduce my partner and son to the Irish way of life. The location is very quiet and is popular with walkers and joggers while also being very close to the picturesque village of Castletownend and numerous beaches. Also being close to Skibereen makes it a lovely base to explore West Cork.
