Chechi is so warm and welcoming. Her food is the best we had, she helped with transport to her homestay, for a tuk tuk to take us sight seeing one day and was very quick to respond to any questions. Flower Valley Plantation is located a bit outside of Munnar -- very quiet and very beautiful. We were served both a delicious breakfast and a delicious dinner every day of our 3-day visit. The room we stayed in has a full balcony (see photo), and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony at dusk, watching the birds. (We also had a bit of work to do, and for this, the broadband service was exceptional.)

If you’re thinking about staying at Munnar Minds Homestay, don’t hesitate to book it! My husband and I spent two nights here and and it’s the perfect quiet place in the hills around Munnar. The city itself and all of the viewpoints are just a tuk tuk or car ride away, but you get the peace and relaxation of being in the mountains. We loved sitting out on the balcony and hearing the birds. And the room and bathroom were both spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was also really positively impacted by the family feel of the place. They treated us like their own relatives- making sure we had a ride to an early morning hike, providing coffee and tea, an excellent breakfast, water, etc. We were very well taken care of and appreciated how kind everyone in the family is. We would highly recommend you stay here to get the most out of your Munnar experience.

Great host and great stay. Rooms are clean with hot water. Food was also very good. It's a quiet location a few minutes drive (or tuktuk) from Anachal village. About 30 minutes away from Munnar town. The host was super friendly and helpful. They helped us with booking a sight seeing trip and a car to our next destination.

Benni was a great host. He invited me for tea one afternoon when I arrived back from a tour. He helped set up cars and drivers to explore the Munnar area. The homestay has a pool. The room had a big attached balcony. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The bed was situated so that you could take in the view from bed. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were plentiful and a great way to share experiences with other guests.

They also do organise transport if needed through small taxi companies with good and knowledgeable drivers. It was the best accomodation on our whole trip (Kerala and Tamil Nadu).
