Personal touch, the owner, Joseph, is extremely helpful, takes care of all your travel needs, gives you a little tour of Kollam. In short: really takes care of you and loves his job. We really had a pleasant stay, personal and nice. I can really recommend anyone who travels to Kollam to stay there. Btw: if you are interested in Hindu festivities and rituals, tell Joseph, he will find memorable trips. And yes: all your backwater trips will be taken care of, too

Amazing stay, we feltl like at home. Perfect location with possibility to rent kayak and bycicle. The owners are always doing everything to make us the most confortable as possible. Also, the food cooked by the owner was so tasty, and very very cheap.

The property is a gem and a bit quirky, which suited us well. The rooftop bar was a nice surprise but the in house elevator was the icing on the cake. The rooms were furnished luxuriously. Our family had a wonderful time by the pool and garden

The best place for a family vacation! Communication is key, and Mr. Murali addressed all our queries even before our visit. They arranged fishing, boating, and Ayurvedic massages for us, and we really enjoyed the homemade food. The property is located right by the backwater, surrounded by lots of trees on the other side, allowing us to fully enjoy nature. Kids will love it—my son spent all his time fishing with the kit Mr. Murali provided. He is the best host we've met in all our travels. We also can't forget the caretaker, Mary, who was always there to prepare whatever we needed!

Wind & Waves is a charming place. I am overwhelmed by the serenity and calmness that W&W offers. The enchanting beauty of the backwaters and the cool breeze was delightful. The vivid colours of the setting sun in the waters was just amazing and the evening was just great! It was quiet with no honking. It was a modern house with a kitchen, living room, hot water, A/C right backed up to the river with a gazebo. Nicest place I stayed in India. Hosts lived in USA for work and spoke excellent English and were able to answer a lot of my questions about India.

It's a newly opened residency so the rooms are vere clean ,decent space and they provide all the basic features.

While booking they accept your special request for arrival and departure, but after your arrival to the property they will demand you more money for little bit early arrival and late departure. In advance they will take full amount of our stay period. Rooms are not cleaned full of with big size ants. No bed sheets and pillow cover provided. No lock for rest room. So many problems. Not recommend.
