Zen Kyoto Hotel and Apartment made our winter here super comfortable. The room is thoughtfully designed with everything you need for both short and longer stays. The kitchen is well equipped. Heating works well. There's a washing machine - there's no dryer but the bathroom has a dehumidifying clothes drying setting that dries your clothes in a few hours. Better than a dryer as it doesn't shrink your sweaters! The staff is lovely. The building is a short easy walk to the train station. Great value for money. We'd definitely stay again.

I loved the bath! It was so relaxing and really relaxing after a long day of walking. The room was spacious and clean, and it was located in a quiet area very close to the river which was so beautiful to walk by!
