The owner was extremely friendly, I felt like I was staying at my grandmother's place. The guesthouse was very clean and organised. Location wax also perfect: 5 minutes to the train station and 1 minute to a konbini. Great value for money. I can only recommend!

Our host was so wonderful. So helpful and kind and has very good English which was great for help in understanding the area including the local onsen and temples. Our host was very easy to contact and was a great help with organising transport, shopping. The house is in a quiet area with beautiful well kept gardens and the natural landscape has such beauty. Lovely spacious home with long views to Matsue and the mountains.

Guest house Yonemuraya was a pleasant surprise. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, as it felt like a more authentic Japanese experience. I travelled to Matsue for a conference at Kunibike Messe convention centre and this was only a short walk away. Emi-San was an excellent host, helping me with finding place for dinner, sightseeing and shopping ideas when I had time off work. There was a lively restaurant area nearby, and the train station, castle etc were within walking distance.
