Great location, directly at the road but quite room. Was greeted at the entrance, directed to a roofed reserved parking 🅿️, perfect. They directly inquired about help for my luggage, superb. Check in a breeze ( didn’t received an invoice though 🤔), all info ℹ️ at hand. Very interesting room, atelier named, huge bed, plenty of storage, good bath /shower unit. Nice towels 😉enough amenities. Complimentary water & a cute little welcome box with assorted pound cakes, yummy 😋 Left shortly and when I came back, same parking 🅿️ the GM came over & we had a great chat, amazing hospitality. Made a reservation for their Spa, best decision.Their staff made sure I am relaxed and enjoyed the session. Rounded it off with their private Onsen offer. Quite night, received again help with my luggage, check out smooth.

The hosts were excellent.They were very accomodating.When the shuttle bus stopped running my host dropped and picked me up from the ski area.He gave me a lift to my bus both ways and his wife made me some breakfast as takeaway as I left early in the morning.Highly reccomend

We loved the ski in/ski out aspect of it but didn't like the steep hill on the other side walking back from restaurants (can't be helped). The car service that was provided by the hotel was great. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Everything in the rooms were exceptional including the private onsen we had in our balcony overlooking the slopes. We even utilized the onsen in our master bath. Closets were good but wish we had some sort of drawers to put clothes in. Kitchen had great appliances plus all the dishes/cups/utensils we needed. It was key to have the laundry in the room.

We had a fantastic time at Epic House. The location is superb, the house itself is warm, spacious and clean, and the hosts Yoshi and Nana were just the best people. They were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay - including restaurant recommendations, slope tips, and even showing us a few off piste runs on a quiet day! Definitely coming back! Love everything about our stay here. The kitchen, the 3 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms! The auto washlet was amazing! The view out the windows are amazing! Everything was nothing short of amazing! Our host, Michiko-san, attended to us as we arrived and explained everything so well. We got free gifts, coffee beans and home-made granola. She even provided baby cot, baby blankets, baby wipes etc for our baby.. and prepared the kitchen area to be baby-safe! We didn’t need to ask for it. There’s projector for us to watch TV. Basic kitchen appliances, utensils and ingredients for cooking like salt, vege oil etc, were all provided. We are beyond thankful for her kind hospitality!

And there’s a valet service taking care of your equipment, so you can get it and go out easily. There are also many amenities that you can use, some free and some for a fee, but very convenient. There are private onsen that you can book, which is as very nice. There’s also a free shuttle bus that can take you up and down to the village.

The place also comes with both private and public onsens which is the perfect answer to a long day of snow sports.
