Wonderful local family who open up their home to travellers. Experience an authentic semi-rural environment. Our host (Saro) took us on a tour to the Killing Cave (horrific history), temple & bat cave (highly informative and eye-opening). Saro had very good English. It was very hot weather when we stayed (40 degrees) - there is only an overhead fan. Don’t expect your normal creature comforts (no a/c). Lovely balcony and hammock to rest in. A very welcoming family - we shared a tasty evening meal. Saro was very helpful in organising our tuk tuks.

Our room was incredibly clean and spacious and had everything we need. Bun and his family were so helpful and so kind, we felt at home immediately. We also booked a half day tour with them, which we enjoyed immensely. The breakfast was so filling and yummy, and we had a couple lunches they offer on the property, which we also recommend, it was very affordable and delicious. Overall I highly recommend staying here, it was by far one of our favorite stays on our trip. Thanks Bun and family for the amazing hospitality 😊

The facilities exceeded expectations for the price and with a two room booking we had internal access to each other’s rooms and a lovely outdoor patio. The staff refilled water bottles in line with the sustainability rating and nearby adjoining property had meals and bar service available to customers of both hotels.
