Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse is situated in a part of Glenanore tea estate close to Haputale. This family-run guesthouse offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

The view from the balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. Dilshan, the host arranged a tuk tuk for us from railway station to the property and he didnt even charge for it. Offered us tea and coffee and was very friendly. Overall loved the experience of staying here. Adisham bungalow is at a walking distance from this place and the tea plantations can be see from the balcony and you can also hike through them during day time to enjoy the view from up above.

Exceptionally clean and modern room for a given price. Shower with a door, enough towels, toiletries and beautiful view if you wake up early enough before a mist comes. The lady who takes care of the facilities is very kind, gave me a lot of tips of how to move around and organised a tuktuk tour for the morning. Also she cooks delicious rice and curry. Highly recommend staying here.

Everything! It was the most beautiful, elegant, welcoming place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka! The home is a true bed & breakfast. The food was amazing and host couple was absolutely lovely. We found this place by chance while looking for lodging on a stopover near Ella. It was the best surprise. We could have stayed here for days. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! It was a highlight of the trip. Thank you for having us!

The father of this place works at the railroad station and if you’re lucky, he can give you a behind the scenes tour! The son and the rest of the family are very kind. The top room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony and view and large enough for an entire family!

With mountain views, Polo Region Rest Inn is situated in Haputale and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. This 3-star bed and breakfast offers full-day security and luggage storage space.

This is a wonderfull place with a beautifull vieuw and an amazing host! I am 7 weeks pregnant and consequently feel sick at random times, and they took such great care of me! Cooking different things, changing the room, etc. Also, their English is good and they arranged our taxi for us (to Sigiriya, so that was quite a long journey and we wanted specific stops along the way). A point worth mentioning is that they had the best wifi we had in Sri Lanka so far, with none of the frequent connection problems you find elsewere. We could make a long call home :) there are soms points for improvement (as mentioned in the other section) but the hostmanship of the owners is an eleven out of ten so makes more than up for it! Also, for this price, these details should be overlooked. Thank you for a wonderfull stay!
