The property overall is beautiful and has so much character and charm! This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip. They also upgraded our room for free to one of the top floor rooms - the view over the water was beautiful and the room was so cozy. Parking was easy and there were several top restaurants steps away, along with a kayak company. We also were able to walk from the hotel to the top of a nearby hill where there were no lights to watch the Aurora. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with planning the rest of our drive through Lofoten.

The mini villa is cozy and well-appointed with everything we needed to cook for two nights. The location has spectacular views, some of the best we saw throughout the trip! They’re so incredible that there’s a bit of foot traffic around the villa throughout the day with people photographing the views. This didn’t bother us! It’s just something to keep in mind if one is looking for a more remote location.

Easy walking distance to Anita's restaurant for some fresh smoked sea trout. The owner is very nice, he helped us to check the boat departure time and keep in mind that you are staying in a mini villa, so it is not a gigantic house.

Best of all, the location cannot be beat - the view of the mountains and cottages is a stunning start to your day, and I watched the Northern Lights right from the deck at least twice! Everything is super small in there but so charming. I would suggest having a car because there is not a lot that you can easily reach by walk. Bed was comfy.
