The hostel is in a great location. It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

This hostel is the first one that we will write a recommendation for. We are traveling since 3 month and have seen a lot of accomodations. The people are very warm and welcoming from the heart. Even though, some parts are still under construction, the price - value is absolutely unbeatable. The staff extremely friendly, helpful and funny. The accomodation is clean. The food in the restaurant is delicious. This might be the best stay in Santa Ana for this price and absolutely worth to see. The castello has a wonderful view to the cathedral and it is located in a very safe area. The owners are very open minded and travelled a lot as well. Many thanks that we could be your guests.

We wanted to sing the praises of the young manager of Hotel Sole. Nestor was amazingly friendly, professional, and was absolutely the most helpful person that we encountered in our entire three week adventure in Central America! He was super supportive as we were coming in late; coordinated our COVID tests; made reservations for us with the Sol Transport Bus (Best Ever!); provided delicious complementary breakfasts; personally guided us through the city, so we wouldn't get lost; and was hilarious and super personable! He alone is reason enough to book here, however the site itself is great! Hotel Sole was very artsy and relaxing, with French music playing in the background for breakfast! All the best!

we had a great stay at Casa Isabel. Manuel was very welcoming and attentive and very nice to talk to. We arrived unannounced and he came straight from work to let us in the property within minutes of messaging him. The room is basic but comfortable and the patio and garden area is nice and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the wifi is good. The property is located a short walk from the park/cathedral and restaurants etc. Manuel also gave us some delicious avocados straight from the tree!
