Clubhouses StefVall is located in the pretty village of Glavatartsi, in the eastern Rhodope mountains, on a hill nestled between two arms in the heart of the Kardjali Dam. It is a wonderful hotel, with great hosts. Valeri gave me a warm welcome, showed me around the whole complex and even kindly drove me to the next village for shopping. I can only recommend a stay. Situated on the shore of Lake Kardzhali in Staro Myasto in the Kardzhali Region, Lakeview Estate B&B features modern apartments with panoramic views of the lake. The view was magnificent and the space in the apartment and terrace wonderful. Fully equipped as you really do need to be self catering due to its isolation. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast, cold drinking water provided as well as tea and coffee. Very comfortable indeed. The track down to the apartments is steep and rough but we were escorted down by Shaban who settled us in and was on hand if we needed anything. He can help you restock if you run out. The only shower in Bulgaria not to flood the bathroom during our entire holiday! Lake lovely to swim in but take river shoes to make getting in easier.

Offering an outdoor pool, Friends Bungalows is situated amidst nature, in the forest above dam Kŭrdzhali. All units include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Towels and bed linen are... The room and the location were great. The beds were very comfortable, it was clean and spacious.
