The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and had everything we needed. It was modern and clean, but at the same time felt very homely and comfortable. Whilst we had almost no interaction with the host, the instructions given on arrival were very clear and it was nice to be left to our own devices. The location (on a farm) was good too, being only a shorty 2.5km walk to town.

Ofenhaus var byggt árið 1750 en það var upphaflega notað til bakaðar brauðs og er staðsett við hliðina á bóndabæ eigandans, 1 km frá miðbæ Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Altstadthaus - neu renoviert, barrierefrei er nýlega uppgert og er staðsett í Murten. Boðið er upp á gistirými í 15 km fjarlægð frá Forum Fribourg og 29 km frá Bern-lestarstöðinni.

Maison Champperbou státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og verönd, í um 24 km fjarlægð frá Forum Fribourg. The lady was very nice and the place really cute

Villa au bord du lac de Morat avec vue er staðsett í Bellerive á Vaud-svæðinu og er með svalir. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. Great communication from the host (via a property management company that was extremely responsive.

Appartment Belle5 er gististaður í Bellerive, 44 km frá International Watch and Clock Museum og 45 km frá Bern-lestarstöðinni. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. The view from the apartment is so beautiful over the lake and mountains. Apartment is well equipped, modern and very comfortable. The host is very nice and helpful and the restaurant below the apartment has really nice food and share the views. We were able to lock up our bikes in the workshop which is important for us, the cycling there is top class.

Superior Morat Gaste Zimmer er 3 stjörnu gististaður í aðeins 100 metra fjarlægð frá Murten-vatni. Boðið er upp á garð, ókeypis WiFi og útsýni yfir vatnið. There is all you need for an unkomplicated journey at a very nice location in a splendid landscape. Very symphatic host, always answering quickly.
