Encanto Hostel er staðsett í Guachaca og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, veitingastað, öryggisgæslu allan daginn, bar, garð, sólarverönd og útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið um kring. Staff were amazing and very helpful, the dorms very organised and clean, and location incredibly close to Tayrona, buritaca etc.

We arrived there in the evening and someone picked us up and brought our luggage up to the hostel. It’s a very cute place, with only a few beds. The staff was really friendly. They prepared great breakfast with self made juice for us in the morning. We decided to stay one additional night, because it is a really peaceful and relaxing place. There is a nice swimming pool and a great view in the valley. They even have a horse. Definitely recommended! I could have stayed there for a week :)

Tiny Houses Unique Tayrona - Dentro del Parque Tayrona er staðsett í El Zaino, nálægt Castilletes-ströndinni og 36 km frá Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Beautiful cabins surrounded by nature. Very peaceful and quiet. Cabins very comfy with very good AC.

Manoush Beach er nýuppgert lúxustjald í Buritaca, nokkrum skrefum frá Playa Buritaca. Það er með einkaströnd og garðútsýni. Exceptionally clean. Really great place and location.

Serrano Glamping er staðsett í El Zaino og er með garðútsýni, veitingastað, sólarhringsmóttöku, bar, garð og verönd. Tjaldbúðirnar eru með WiFi og einkabílastæði án endurgjalds. We have travelled around South America for the past 5 weeks and our stay at serrano glamping is the most unique and memorable stay that we have had in any location. Paulo contacted me as soon as I had made the booking, and he sorted out our transfer which cost around £30 from Santa Marta airport, and 3 mototaxis up the mountain for me, my wife and our big bag, which cost around £2 each. The location is so unique - accessed via a bridge over a river then up a mountain by walk or moto taxi up into the rainforest above. The accommodation itself was a beautifully unique glamping tent, with shower, toilet and comfortable beds with mosquito nets along with a beautiful balcony from which we watched lots of unique birds. In terms of cleanliness - it is the cleanest property we have stayed at on our travels. Paulo arranged our transfer to tayrona, which took around 5 minutes and cost £3. They gave us excellent advice for our visit to Tayrona - to go early and avoid the crowds, which really made our visit to Tayrona as we were there for doors opening at 7am and had the place to ourselves. Paulo and brune cooked for us both nights we were there, beautiful burgers the first night and chicken wraps the second. Fantastic, simple home cooking at its best from Brune. I cannot thank Paulo and Bruno enough, they are two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of meeting and we were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. I can’t recommend the property enough.

Hostal Cristal er staðsett í Los Naranjos, aðeins 1,2 km frá Los Naranjos-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They’ll always help you with any problem that you might have.

Eco Hostal Kuima er staðsett í El Zaino og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni yfir ána. Gististaðurinn er með sólarhringsmóttöku og lautarferðarsvæði. Do yourself a favor and book this eco hostal! It was AMAZING!! The rooms were spacious (including a hammock on your balcony, ensuite bathroom, aircon and TV), the breakfast was lovely, the pool was beautiful and the views of the river made and surrounds put you at ease. The location was also ideal, walking distance from really good restaurants and about 2kms to the entrance (El Zaino) of the Tayrona National Natural Park. P.S. Getting there was also easy, just take the green bus (not sure the name) from Santa Marta and hop off right at the Hostal.

Villa Tayrona er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 2,7 km fjarlægð frá Castilletes-ströndinni. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance. Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. I am a firm believer that the staff can make or break a hotel and the staff here confidently knows what they’re doing- everyone from the reception to the kitchen staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. A smaller hotel so plenty of attention on the guests. Great rooms at an affordable price- and did I mention views!? Stay here if you’re in Santa Marta. We stayed at three places in the area and this was our favorite.

Natyva House er staðsett í Guachaca og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, veitingastað, sólarhringsmóttöku, bar, garð, lautarferðarsvæði og verönd. The house is close to the beach and the river, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Jhon will always try to help you and give you advice to explore the area. You can walk 10 minutes to see the beautiful sunset at the Mendihuaca River. There is actually a house in front of Natyva that is still under construction, but the work would be between 9am and 4pm. We could really rest, you don't hear the party on the other side of the river ;) We were travelling with a small child and everything was fine for him. It is a safe place and a safe environment. We did some day trips from there to Guachaca and Buritaca. Best to have your own/rented car.
