Welkom bij Casa Familiar La Tortuga, uw thuis weg van huis in Barva de Heredia! It is a family house with very nice people. The room was clean and cozy with a balcony to watch birds. Brakfast was perfect. There was private parking.

The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property
