We were concerned when we booked this as it is off grid, and we were unsure how we would cope staying there for 4 nights in the middle of nowhere. It was absolutely fine though and we would strongly recommend the place. When you arrive, you leave your car at the Rangers office and walk 10 mins to the accommodation. Val and Ron, who run the place, were so helpful with guiding us there and helping to carry bags. They were so friendly and interesting to talk to about their life there. The house is lovely, being very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. It is very private, not being overlooked and surrounded by a large garden. The place is off grid, but there is solar powered USB point for phones, and WiFi is accessible at the Rangers office. Ice was delivered every morning to use in the Pelican cooler, which worked so well to keep everything cool. You need to take all the food with you as there are no restaurants in the local area. The pool is big and lovely to cool down in. The wildlife is amazing, just be prepared to share the accommodation with some of it, there is a small colony of bats in one of the bedrooms, which are harmless and don't bother you and are fascinating to watch. The bird dawn chorus is one we will never forget, so many sounds, along with the magical fire flies at night. Can't list everything we saw, but highlights including the swallow tailed kites, white hawk following the squirrel monkeys along the river. We sat by the river for 3 hours early one morning and let the wildlife come to us. We saw so much! It is a wonderful place and an experience we will never forget and are so glad we did. If you like wildlife, this is the place for you.

Yejos er staðsett í Dos Brazos og er gististaður frá 2018. Boðið er upp á grillaðstöðu og sameiginlegt rými með ókeypis WiFi. Staðsett nálægt Corcovado-þjóðgarðinum og 150 metra frá Sendero Tigre. Amazing place, surrounded by nature! Bungalow was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host Josh was amazing, always ready to help, the best host we had in Costa Rica!

Los Mineros Guesthouse er staðsett í Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50 metra frá Corcovado-innganginum og 13 km frá Puerto Jiménez. Það er staðsett í fallegum görðum sem hægt er að sjá úr herbergjunum. Awesome location close to Corcovado national park so a lot of animals literally in the garden. Very friendly hosts who offer interesting tours and helped with everything like bus times or where to go next. We planned to stay only 1 night and because we liked it so much we ended up returning and staying 6 nights and doing a lot of tours. Calm place, well equipped kitchen, cozy A-frame house with relaxing noise from a flowing river behind it. The only problem we had was the 99% humidity which makes it impossible to dry clothes after washing. There is a laundry service in the town which turned out to be well invested money. Otherwise definitely the best place we stayed so far in almost 2 months costa rica and we will definitely try to return here. We felt very close to the nature and the country also because we learned a lot about the life in CR, animals, trees and plants and also about the history of the place from Suzanna and Channi. Because of his commitment I saw my first terciopelo during the night tour which was an awesome encounter. Thanks again and we are hoping to see you two again!

El Manantial de Corcovado er staðsett fyrir framan skólann og býður upp á garð og verönd. Öll herbergin eru með sérbaðherbergi. Gistirýmið býður upp á ókeypis WiFi. Close to the National park where we saw the most beautiful sunset. Very friendly stuff and a very beautiful place. I recommend to stay longer than just 1 night if possible.
