Really great place to stay in San Jose. The unit is very modern and spotless clean! The view is second to none! Car elevator is cool. Receptionist was very helpful. They kindly let us stay on the rooftop to accept some business calls after the check-out. I also loved the gym and jacuzzi with a view. The check-in did not require a key and was contactless. This is a jewel of a stay!

Beautiful location, plenty of space to sleep, relax, have meals plus great views. Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.

The apartment is fully equipped very well taking care of. The neighborhood is safe and we enjoyed the nice breakfast/brunch restaurants close to the apartment. I would fully recommend to stay at this place.

At 3 km (9600 ft) Elevation, the night was chilly and the morning was fresh. Given our experience with bland and low-variety Costa Rican cooking, Miriam's home cooking was outstanding. ARANJUEZ LOFTS Santa Ana is located in Santa Ana and offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. It's a beautiful and quiet place and furnished with great taste! Safe, clean and the owners were very kind!! We stayed only for one night, because we had planned ahead, otherwise I definitely would have liked to stay longer!

Boasting a garden, Hospedaje Casa Monge is situated in San Gerardo de Dota, within 17 km of Cerro de la Muerte. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. This was a beautiful magical place. The best place to see Quetzal is near an avacado tree right on this property. The cabin is right on the river, walking distance to two restaurants with beautiful patios. The drive from Quetzales national park entrance is lots of switchbacks and you must be very careful. Look for the “unicorn lodge” sign on your left coming down the mountain in San Gerardo. “Casa monge” itself isn’t well signed from the main road. I would recommend this place to anyone, it was fantastic! Dirche, the owner, was absolutely lovey and took us out at 5:30 to see the quetzals. I would also recommend the waterfall hike about 2kms down the hill from Casa Monge- a bit treacherous at times but well worth it, 2-3 hrs total!
