Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura features a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. Jose is a great host. He took us around Fogo to see these really amazing places. The room was very comfortable, toilets and bathrooms very clean.There was always hot water running from the bathroom taps when needed. I was really thrilled by the craftmanship in the buildings . Jose used larva to build the house, and used recycled bottles in building part of the walls of the bathroom, so much sustainability on display . Jose was also very helpful when i needed to book a last minute flight back to Praia. Thank you Jose

The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Reasonable price, clean room and very welcoming and helpful host Rose. Basic but decent breakfast (I ask it to serve at 6am before the hiking Fogo, and it was there exactly at time). The wifi is available outside the house, 20 metres in front of the hotel, close to the restaurant

Located in Chã das Caldeiras, casa alcindo offers a bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Pipi's Guest House, featuring a garden, a terrace and a bar, is located in São Filipe, 2.4 km from Sao Filipe Beach. At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with a wardrobe. The staff did their best to make us feel comfortable and went above and beyond. The breakfast is very, very good, to the point that on our second day I asked them not to give us so much food! The swimming pool was great for a dip at the end of a hot day. The scenery is beautiful and the room comfortable. The location is good, it's a 15-minute walk from the town of S.Filipe and a 10-minute walk from the airport. The hotel is in a very quiet area.

Casa Ze & sonia is situated in Portela. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe. I loved to be treated like family by this amazing couple João and Leia. The place is really clean and cozy and has a great sense of style. João is also a great guide to take you up to the Vulcano, and feeds you with a lot of information and culture. Totally recommended and worth it.

Situated in Igreja in the Fogo region, Gira Lua has a terrace and sea views. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. Yulia was an incredible host. We took our time to have a deep conversation with her about life in Fogo. She made us feel like part of her family, she shared with us all Cape Verdean values. She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.

Set in São Filipe, Tortuga B&B offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
