Set in Shanklin, the recently renovated The Bay house Apartments, shanklin offers accommodation 200 metres from Shanklin Beach and 15 km from Blackgang Chine. It was a joyful experience. Warm welcome from host and treat’s especially hot chocolate, kids loved it. It was very nice , clean and comfy and we got everything we needed during our stay with our kids . It was raining and we reached earlier and host was so cooperative and messaged that apartment ready to check in , and we got everything to make ourselves tea, coffee , hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. So we didn’t have to stop anywhere or rush out for a drink . Later in afternoon weather got better and we left for our venture after freshen up.

Situated in Ryde and only 1.6 km from Ryde Beach, Westend features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful and superb location!

Situated in Shanklin, near Shanklin Beach, Appley Lodge is a historic bed and breakfast that has a garden. It is set 15 km from Blackgang Chine and features luggage storage space. Wendy and Gareth were superstars who made myself and my mum's holiday to the Isle of Wight perfect. Great breakfast, clean room, friendly service and a wonderful location. Should we come back to the island, we will definitely be returning to this wonderful B&B.

Summerhill Apartments is situated in Shanklin, 700 metres from Shanklin Beach, 2.8 km from Sandown Beach, and 16 km from Blackgang Chine. Richard met us at the door when we arrived on the property. We took a taxi from the Wight Link ferry pier to the property - Ryde Taxi is lovely! The apartment was within walking distance to the beach, high street, grocery store and public transportation. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. There was coffee, tea, milk and biscuits to welcome us at the apartment. The location was quiet, clean and had a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There wasn't a dryer; however, there was a very handy clothes horse in the closet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shanklin! Thank you, Richard! We hope to be back again in the future!

Goshens Farm B&B, a property with a garden, is situated in Wootton, 6.9 km from Osborne House, 19 km from Blackgang Chine, as well as 4.2 km from Robin Hill. The facility was as described and the breakfast was delicious and made to order by the host/owner who is a delightful and interesting and informative man. The facility was unique and well situated to many historic sites within the Salisbury region. The owner provided excellent referrals to local dining opportunities and also made the reservation as a means of introduction.
