Set in San Pedro La Laguna in the Solola region, Casa LLEMO features a patio and lake views. The property has garden and mountain views. I checked out a couple of other places before deciding to stay at Casa Llemo because of the welcoming atmosphere from the first moment and I'm so glad I did. Julio and his family go out of their way to make you feel at home and make sure you get everything you need, but they always give you enough privacy as well. The rooms are clean, the water is hot and the meals are home cooked, delicious and cheap. They can also book different tours and shuttle for you and often have better connections or prices than what you find on the internet. Julio's hospitality went even beyond my stay. I had already left when a shuttle I had booked online canceled last minute. Because he had mentioned an alternative company to me before I called him pretty late, and even though I woke him up, he was so helpful and managed to book a shuttle for me and save my trip! Thank you! I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

Boasting lake views, The Paradise of Atitlán Suites apartamento completo provides accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 48 km from Volcano Atitlan. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, everything we needed was there. The facilites were fantastic. Host was very helpful and responded to our request well. Close enough to Panajachel to get to easily but not in the middle of everything. Perfect both for people who want to go and do tourist things or those who want to relax in a jacuzzi.

Set 24 km from Volcano Atitlan, Una Noche Con Mical offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. Might be the best choice if you want to stay in San Pedro but not inside the buzzing center. It's quiet but we could always find a tuk tuk to/from the center in less than 2 minutes (or walk).

This is a lovely space close enough to the action to walk but far away enough for peace and quiet (apart from an occasional rooster or dog) Jason is a wonderful host gracious and accommodating -fabulous hot water shower cozy bed -just great

Situated in San Pedro La Laguna in the Solola region, Apartamento Jacob has a terrace. The Volcano Atitlan is within 24 km of the apartment. - The place is a bit further (yet still within walking distance) from the main touristy area. This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

Set in San Juan La Laguna in the Solola region, Casa Elenita offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment features a garden. We could not have had a better experience staying here. Domingo the host was the most accommodating, offering help any way he could and really elevated our 5 day stay. The house itself was in a perfect location: close to all the main in in San Juan la Laguna, while remaining just off the beaten path. The house and rooms were plentiful and spacious, and the rooftop terrace out of this world. We were 7 people and felt like we had more than enough space. We had so much fun staying here and would stay here again in a heart beat. San Juan La Laguna is a beautiful town with real heart surrounded by gorgeous mountains and inhabited by generous, interesting people. If you are thinking of coming to Lake Atitlan, I could not recommend enough staying in San Juan enough. And Casa Elenita only exceeded any expectation we had.

The property sits on the lake Atitlan which you can see every morning from your bedroom and from the balcony at night. If you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation, this is the place! We barbecued every night and enjoyed the serenity of Guatemala. Assistance is just a message a way, the locals who look after the propoerty always have a smile on their face and will be happy to run to the village for any errand.
