This beautiful guest house is run by a most lovely man. Bambang was an attentive host, speaks excellent English, and is always willing to help out with whatever you might need. The house has various sitting areas inside and out, a koi pond, and is on a quiet lane just off a main street with shops, restaurants, etc. A huge and delicious Indonesian breakfast is provided (and is different every day!), plus there are free 24 hour snacks and drinks. Also we hired an English speaking guide and driver to take us to our next stay at Borobudur for a very reasonable price. He lives right next door.

We were there for 3 nights and each morning was a different delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. The location was ideal for walking to the sites. Other than morning prayer at 4:45, it’s a very quiet location.

Bedhot Homestay está a 5,5 km de Museo Sonobudoyo y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. As a solo female traveller this was the perfect place to relax out of the city but easy enough to be scootered to food, drinks and sights. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help and advise, but will give you space to relax with a book if that's your thing. I loved wandering around the rural neighbourhood and felt very safe on my own. The owner organised a cycling tour for me which added another dimension to my enjoyment and understanding of the area. The room was simple and comfortable set in a beautiful, peaceful garden. The design of the property has been well thought out with Javanese furniture and buildings Javanese. This place made my trip to Yogjakarta!
