The place is a short walk to the small town of Doolin, which had great restaurants and shops. Loved our stay!

Excellent breakfast, both international and local. The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is practically new and super clean, everything as in the photos you can see when booking. I can recommend the hot chocolate to everyone, because it contained a lot of mini marshmallows!

Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

We noticed that Irish people are friendly, but our host was fantastic. He made us feel like we were hosted by one of our best friends! Very nice place, you wake up in the nature. Very clean-convenient place. We loved the music from the pick-up and the old records. Children did not want to leave the place! Fully recommended

It is located 4.8 km from Doolin Cave and offers private check-in and check-out. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. We arrived around 8pm and we were able to get in and leave our stuff right away to go get some food. Room was really cute and had everything we needed. Teresa let us keep our suitcases there the next morning as we had tours and wouldn't come back until 4ish (past check-out time) which was a life saver!!! She also prepared some coffee and home baked goods for us before going on our hike.
