His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

I loved the balcony and the view the of Kanchenjunga and the other mountains from the balcony. I loved the food everyday and all of the hosts were extremely nice. Uncle took me to his monastery one morning and offered to help me explore other parts of the area too, I really appreciated that. I loved sitting in the balcony at night and seeing the lights from other houses glisten in the distance. The homestay had a very relaxing and had a peaceful energy and I hope to visit again. As a bonus, the bathroom was very nice with amazing water pressure and a very big water heater.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. They made an effort to get to know me and provided me with all the amenities needed for a good experience. The breakfast, chai and food requested were always delicious! The property is 5 minute's walk from the heart of gangtok, but in such a quite area that you forget that you're in a center. A gem to find! Highly recommend it to everyone.

The Sherpa's Abode is gelegen in Gangtok, op 8 minuten lopen van uitkijkpunt Ganesh Tok en 1,5 km van klooster Enchey. We liked the hospitality and warmth of the Host. Food was freshly cooked and taste was excellent. Room size, cleanliness, balcony view, toilet facilities, hot water facilities were superb. Mr. Nima and Madam were so nice and kind to look after the guests with highest sincerity and warmth. I would say they are exceptionally good host. We really were so happy and felt like home, as if we were part of the family.
