Kalidasa Tree house really went out of their way to make our stay as calm and wonderful as possible. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the view and surroundings are beautiful. The home cooked meals were really delicious and you could just feel everything was made with love. We had a bit of confusion and drama with our taxi driver who dropped us off there and they stepped in to assist and helped to ease our struggles which we are really grateful for. I loved my stay here. The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.

Additionally, the homemade food served here is an absolute delight. Fresh and delicious, it adds a distinct charm to the experience. Additional Notes: It's worth noting that the path leading to the hermitage can be challenging for some vehicles. When Mr. Radhakrishnan advises on whether your vehicle can make it, trust his judgment. The journey might be tough, but the destination is equally rewarding.

Place is sooo calming , pleasant and clean.It gives us a feel of being packed in nature.Host Mr.suresh kumar is also so friendly and helpful and guided us well on the nearby locations to visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who ever wants to visit wayanad .would definitely visit again some time soon.
